Napier Deputy Mayor launches KiaOraMai

The official start of the programme for Hawkes Bay took place with a launch by the Napier Deputy Mayor, Kathie Furlong on Wednesday 24th February at MISSION ESTATE WINERY. Deputy Mayor, Kathie Furlong introduced, KiaOraMai to 50 local  employers as an opportunity “to provide employers with a programme that helps train them and their staff to deliver a great New Zealand visitor and customer experience”. Deputy Mayor Kathie Furlong also said “Few regions have more reason to embrace such a programme than Hawkes Bay which is so much a tourism centre. This programme may be aimed at such huge events as the Rugby World Cup but day in and out Hawkes Bay is at the forefront of providing for visitors be they, New Zealand holiday makers or overseas cruise ship visitors”.
