Mayor Bob Parker launches KiaOraMai for Christchurch

Enterprise Waitaha in partnership with CDC and Christchurch Canterbury Tourism hosted the launch at Nga Hau E Wha National Marae. Dion Kerr from Enterprise Waitaha told attendees that KiaOraMai is promoting tourism and travel training in preparation for 2011 Rugby World Cup. Enterprise Waitaha members and guests from within these industries enjoyed the cultural experience the marae provided with a wonderful powhiri and performances held in the main whare. The launch presentation was held in the whare kai and gave everyone a chance to network amongst themselves while enjoying food and beverages provided by Maata Waka. The response from the night has been terrific with people signing up to join the programme and enquiries for more events to held at the Marae, superb outcome for all involved.
