The National Qualifications Framework
The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) is administered by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). NQF qualifications are quality assured and nationally recognised.
The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) provides:
- nationally recognised, consistent standards and qualifications
- recognition and credit for a wide range of learning, knowledge and skills
Where do unit standards fit in?
Unit standards are registered on the NQF and set a national standard for what a learner needs to know and what they must be able to demonstrate to gain the unit standard.
What does this all mean?
In addition to achieving a national standard for customer service, KiaOraMai participants also gain three unit standards on the NQF.
KiaOraMai will have national consistency, so when you meet someone with the KiaOraMai certificate, you’ll know they have excellent customer service skills.
